Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and a hashed password (or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google). Email addresses are verified with a one-time code.
• Resume — only if you upload one, stored so you can build tailored resumes/cover letters and download it when applying elsewhere. You can replace or delete it anytime from your profile.
• Activity — jobs you save and applications you track, so your pipeline works across devices.
• Analytics — with your consent, anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics (pages visited, general location, device type). If you decline the cookie banner, no analytics cookies are set.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect against request forgery — these are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent by clearing your browser data for this site.

What we don't do

• We never sell your data.
• We never share your resume with anyone without an action you take.
• We don't send marketing email — only the verification codes you request.

Service providers

Your data is processed by the infrastructure we run on: Google Firebase (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (verification emails), and — with consent — Google Analytics. Job listings link to the hiring company's own site, which has its own privacy policy once you leave ours.

Your choices

You can delete your resume from your profile at any time. To delete your entire account and its data, email hello@newgradpaths.com from your account's address and we'll remove it.
