CPU Physical Design Engineer -Technology & Pathfinding

Job Details: Job Description: About the Team  The group you will join is in a charge of developing the Intel High Performance Processor (P-Core), a disruptive technology that enables a broad range of devices from entry PCs to high end servers. You will be part of a team, participating in the design of a future generation of high-performance Intel microprocessor.    In this role you will:  • Focus on process and construction technology to build best in-class products across P-core CPUs.  • The group makes use of state of the art VLSI design tools and methods, while performing deep analysis to predict and optimize the product power, area and Freq.   • Work on cutting edge Process technologies and analysis from device to APR level, frequency-power optimization, STA and PVT's, Clock distribution and quality, Power Grid planning.  • Conduct all aspects of the physical design flow including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution and power analysis.  • Deep analyze results and make recommendations for current and future process needs.  • Possess expertise in various aspects of structural and physical design, including physical clock design, timing closure, coverage analysis, placing, routing, synthesis. • Participate in the development and improvement of physical design methodologies. Qualifications: • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering • At least 1+ years of experience in BE Design using industry EDA tools. • Experience in TCL  • Experience with Synopsys and Cadence EDA tools – advantage   • Experience in Python – advantage             Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (Israel) Primary Location: Israel, Haifa Additional Locations: Israel, Petah-Tikva Business group: Silicon and Platform Engineering Group (SPE): Deliver breakthrough silicon and platform solutions that deliver industry-leading products today while also defining the next generation of computing experiences.
